Moving Day is upon us. Well, it is a few days away, but our house is pretty ridiculous right about now with random boxes everywhere and most most non heavy items getting moved to the new place throughout this week. Today I told Joshua to go play and he said he couldn't because there aren't any toys left. I realized he was right and let him "help" me pack.
We've worked really hard on our new house - lots of painting, new flooring, bathroom changes, taken down a wall (well, we just observed a friend do that). So hard that we forgot to take any pictures along the way, which is kind of sad. And now soon we'll be surrounded by the boxes in a different house and have no idea where our stuff is or why on earth we have a breadmaker. Really, I've been quite embarrassed by the amount of stuff that we have. Too many clothes, too many toys, and WAY too many kitchen items. (I'd say too many books, but that's just impossible.)
Now we feel like the Jeffersons and we get to Move On Up. Come on, sing it in your head... to the East side... to a deluxe apartment in the sky...

Finally got a piece of the pie! Hope you strut like George while moving those boxes in. Enjoy your new home!
As much as I want to move to a new house, I do not look forward to packing up all my stuff!
