Kindergarten 2011

The day finally arrived. Anna Kirby went to kindergarten at Haw Creek Elementary yesterday. Of course, this is as much about the parents as it is about the student, right? I'm proud to report that all of us did quite well.

We were all a bit nervous, but Anna walked right into her class and listened to her teacher and barely noticed when I left. And I walked right into her class and left her without an embarassing incident. In fact, dropping her off wasn't nearly as difficult as the rest of the day when I would wonder what she was doing all day with this teacher I don't know.

I know this growing up bit won't be easy for any of us, but we're excited to see where we are led in the journey.
