Some of the best summer activities are those related to water, at least in my estimation. I think a vast amount of Americans spend some time in the water - at the coast, in the pool, or at a lake. I always look forward to our family week at the beach. This year was especially fun, as I'm starting to get a glimpse that our kids will enjoy the beach as much as I do. At 5, Anna has determined that she has conquered the waves. While this may not be entirely true according to her parents, she is quite impressive at jumping and riding them.
Joshua pretty much only wanted to play ball. Any kind of ball - paddleball, soccer, football.
Liam is happiest playing in the sand.
The elders spend their time sitting down.
